A Family's Journey to Bring Authentic Japanese Flavors to America

Nishiki Ramen is a Japanese family-owned restaurant with three locations in San Diego, California, and one in Plano, Texas.  The owner, "Mike" Furuichi, was born and raised in Tokyo and brings the nostalgic flavors of Japan to our American community.

At Nishiki Ramen, we take pride in offering handmade ingredients for our ramen.   Our noodles are made fresh daily in-house, and customers can watch the noodle-making process at our in-store noodle factory.  Our broth is prepared in a large 200-liter pressure pot, extracting the rich umami from pork and chicken to the fullest.

The pork and chicken chashu are cooked in a state-of-the-art steam convection oven, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity to ensure the perfect tenderness and juiciness while preserving the meat's natural flavors.

We aim to create ramen that anyone, from children to the elderly, can enjoy every day. While we continuously improve the quality of our ramen by embracing new cooking techniques, we remain dedicated to preserving the traditional Japanese style.
